Established in 1836 in the hills of Bavaria, Theresienthal's crystal ware--which is made entirely by hand from the shaping to the engraving phases--has been sought out by royals and contemporary design-conscious clients alike. Every step involved in the crafting of these pieces is carried out by artisans at Theresienthal's Bavaria site; some of the wood-turners, glass-blowers, engravers, and painters are fourth and fifth generation Theresienthal artisans.
