With training as both a goldsmith and in industrial design, Berlin-based designer Saskia Diez has used materials ranging from paper to precious stones for her imaginative designs. Consciously challenging the traditional principles of jewelry design, the particular feel and look of Diez's vision comes through whether rendered in gold, glass, or wood.
