Boudicca

Named after the ancient British warrior queen of the same name, Boudicca is a London-based label founded by Zowie Broach and Brian Kirkby in 1997. Initially conceived as a purely artistic entity whose work was mostly showcased in galleries and exhibition settings, Boudicca was invited by the British Fashion Council to present officially during London fashion week in 2001. Broach and Kirkeby's designs have become known for their depth and attention to detail; close care has been given to every aspect from fabric selection to fit and finish. Produced in very limited quantities, the following garments and accessories are constructed to be worn for a lifetime.

Boudicca has collaborated on projects with artists such as Gillian Wearing, architect David Adjaye and film director Mike Figgis. In 2007, Boudicca was invited to design the Christmas tree at the Victoria & Albert Museum, a high privilege within the British design community.
